C’mon…
C’mon dude!
These fucking printers man.
Someone’s gotta do something about these budgets around here.
Got me over here slapping big plastic boxes.
Uhm, it was Super Bowl Sunday
And it had just snowed again. Like, that afternoon
So there was a lot of old, kind of brown, dirty snow on the ground
And then with new, a little bit of new fresh snow on top of it
And everyone was inside, watching the game
And me and boyfriend went for a walk from his apartment building to the beach
There was nobody else around, maybe because of the superbowl or just because it was cold
We walked to the beach, and I got new snow boots (which I haven’t really had in many years)
So I was kind of climbing up on the snow and jumping around like a kid
And I felt like a kid
And there kid’s snow boots so you kind of have to walk around really heel toe in them
Uhm, so I think that was kind of---
C’mon…
C’mon dude!
Exacerbating my feelings
And we went down to the boardwalk and there was nobody there
And I kind of kicked around the sand and was jumping around on the beach
And the way the sand and the snow mixed together
It was weird because I had never seen it before
Even though I had lived on the beach my whole life
But yeah, that was a really nice day
Two words, sumo season
My routine is like pretty much the same every day
Like, all the time now
Uh, so
Sumo season is when the routine is broken up
That’s when I’m looking forward to what’s happening the next day
And, you know, it just kind of breaks it up a little bit

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
